Wow!!! it's been such a long time since i've posted! i've been working a lot on various things and one of them has been the just released "Spooky Collection KittyCatS!" which were released just yesterday.

it was a lot of fun to work on these little cats... and i don't know which are my favorite cuz each of them are special in their own way.

Cat Eyes - I can see!!!

we released some new glasses for our cats... they are quite cute and fun...

i loved making them with barnesworth, and learning how to make them all by myself too thanks to his patience and fabulous teaching abilities :) and patience :)

hApPy 9th bIRtHdAY seCoNd LiFe!!! (you don't look a day over 3)

YaY, second life is now 9 years old!!! hard to believe it!

in Honor of the 9 years, KittyCatS! has created a special collectible birthday cat as a way to celebrate with the community. It will be available til June 29th at the 20 sim birthday bash, Our KittyCatS! SL9B sim, and Frolic Island.

The cats have the "9" theme on them, 9 balloons, 9 stars on the collar, 9 stars on the chest, 9 stars on each side of the body, and 9 little stars on the underside of their paws.... the cat comes in a cute little cake (shown), with a hat, balloon and cute food that looks like a birthday cake :)

we also have a sim apart from the 20 sim birthday bash, decorated like a jungle where you can admire cute birthday boxes all decorated by our amazing creative community! There are free gifts there too from some SL content creators who are part of the KittyCatS! community.

got STEAM??? Steampunk inspired KittyCatS! for RFL of SL Home expo.

Cats @ the KittyCatS! display

Making the RFL cats this year was bitter sweet. A dear friend's father that I've known since my teens has been battling pancreatic cancer, and he died on May 7th. He was one of the most amazing men I had ever met in my entire life. Full of love, life, courage, a pioneer in his career, and as humble as they come.

With him in mind I made these cats... it brought it to a whole new level for me because of the timing. One thing he said when he got diagnosed was "Cancer is the gift of time"... how coincidental it was... that was 2 years ago when they gave him but a month to live... but he was committed to living each day as the GIFT it was... then this year the theme is "Time for a Cure".

The cats were designed with that theme in mind as well. I have always been drawn to steampunk art, and when thinking of what i'd make for this event, i thought a "clock cat" which thankfully evolved into these little cuties.

They come in 2 colors, a Gold & Silver and the Girls and boys are different as well. The boy has the "gears" and mechanics, the girl has all the water inside her which you can see from her heart shaped hole, and she's full of little fish.

KittyCatS! come with collectible packaging & Goggles they wear!

The packaging the cats come in is a cute little "steampunk" inspired aquarium with a little fish that swims... All the elements in the cat and packaging tie into the display at the Home & Garden Expo where the cats can be purchased. ALL proceeds to go Relay For Life!!!!

Last week, KittyCatS! released something I've been pretty excited about for a long time. We added the KittyCatS! CaTTery.

What is that? Well simply put, it's a way to export your cats with the click of the mouse onto our website "CaTTery" and you have the ability to feed, breed and care for them there!

It's an added feature our customers can use if they can't get into SL to care for their pets and just want to "keep an eye on them" and a very customizable tool that really can be used however the customer wants. (Some people were VERY excited to get their houses back after giving up house and home to their little Kitties)

Prims are always an issue in SL so I'm really happy we were able to offer a feature that is mindful of the limits we all have to work with in SL.

Thus far the response has been really positive which we were hoping for. What I find is really great is the speed of which the KittyCatS can travel in and out of SL in... literally a SECOND or LESS!!! I have to admit having fun sending them back and forth quite a few times.

We have provided this awesome addition at no charge so all who wanted, no matter what their budget could use the cattery. Oh did i forget to mention we have a new hold/cuddle too??? (Adorkable did a great job on it!!!)

So with over 30 MILLION breeding possibilities ALL OF THEM, can be instantly seen on our website!!!  I have to say though I know very little about scripting... I'm pretty impressed with all the work and brain power it went into creating this technology... and I bow down humbly to "KittyCats" our scripter for his ability to pull of what we only dreamed of. Can't wait for the other stuff he's gonna do :P

nouvelle vague française - collabor88 goes french new wave!!!

i LOVED the theme. this months collabor88 was "french new wave" and the colors were fab. i enjoyed making this retro swim suit (with optional ruffle skirt) so much! i've always loved vintage stuff and this was a great little project.

i made it in the 5 colors of the palete we had to work from... i hope you enjoy it. lots of other great stuff too!!! great for mixing and matching!!!

Flowers & Truffles... Yummy stuff for Spring!

hey all :)

We just released on April 1st the KittyCatS! Spring Collection Cats. It was a bit challenging making the chocolate ones.  Brown can look like many things when applied to a prim and my first attempts came nowhere close to chocolate! (yes, it was quite bad)

So... our kitties actually were very naughty in the end and broke into an elite Chocolatier Boutique and melted all the Chocolate bunnies and had fun decorating themselves as Fancy Truffles!!! They even managed to get some Bunny Ears and Tails too!!! Yes, they are magical. :)

 The second part of the Spring Collection,  "Fun Flowers" were a lot of fun to make. It's the first time I actually drew with pen and ink on paper and imported it into the digital realm to apply to the cats. I've been wanting to do this for a LONG time because I love to draw, paint and doodle. These cats are the first in our "artist" series which will use traditional mediums all hand done on paper or canvas then applied digitally. I can't wait to do more in the future!!!

Best Of SL - caLLie & KittyCatS! - meow?

a few years ago, i was asked to be on the BOSL mag cover.  i did the cover,  blowing a kiss with one as i held a pistol in my other hand, why? who knows. in the spread i also wore my kitty ears & tail... why? it seemed fun. i enjoyed shooting for that issue... i started in SL as a photographer, so it's always fun to revisit that.

2 years later, i never thought i'd be on the cover of BOSL again, but this time i got be on it holding a cat who was holding my tiara... she made SURE she was the princess. :) 

i really enjoyed working with persia bravin on the article, what a fabulous lady! we got to talk about SL & fashion, and KittyCatS!  As some of you know, besides doing the caLLie cLine brand, i am also doing a new (well year old now) project called KittyCatS! which are little pet cats which can have babies and are really fun to interact with, and little bundles of fur joy! :) I've been doing that pretty much full time in SL for a year, cutting back quite a bit on clothing, consulting and other things... but i do love it very much :) our core team is made up of Equinox Pinion, Dennis Lagan and moi.

it was a bit challenging to get back into "photography" and it was a bit intimidating for me. SL has come so far since i first started shooting and it took a bit to get the feel again.

well that's all for now, KittyCatS! will be at Fashion For Life which opens on the 10th of March, and it's really exciting to be able to participate in a cause which touches so many lives. i'm honored. my good friend (and partner for the fashion blogger group) Harper Beresford has been heading it up and has done just a fabulous job, make sure to check it out, there are tons of great designers all giving their time and talents to help in fighting the battle of cancer. a generous community to be sure.
