BOO!!! care to meet some silly spooks?

Hi everyone!

I've been quite busy lately and I can hardly believe my last post was in the summer! Time flies doesn't it? I hope you are all have a lovely fall and enjoying the changing of the seasons.

I wanted to take some time to introduce you to some very Silly SpOOkS!

These are one of the Collections from our Fall "Mystical" Line of KittyCatS! As many of you know
most of my SL time is spent these days playing with very cute kitties!

One of the most fun things about the whole mystical collection is the fun interactions... you can fly with a broom with your cat on it with all the cats AND if you use the "walk" feature, you can have on or 50 walk all around you when you TRICK OR TREAT or attend any fun Halloween events!

They are available in the marketplace AND at our KittyCatS Store.

A MOVIE FOR YOU!!!

 To everyone in Second Life... Happy, Happy, Birthday!

Summer Splash!!! Happy 10th Birthday Second Life!!!

WOW, is it already Summer? Well technically not yet... but so so close!

KittyCatS! Summer Splash has started strong with a Groovy "Beach Party Movie" style sim celebrating Second Life's TENTH birthday!!! SL you are so old now, and you don't look a day over 3. :)

I joined SL almost 8 years ago and remember them having a "let's get 3,000 people to log in this weekend" campaign! (you got a free dance bracelet if you were one of the ones to log on.) I remember friends saying, "don't forget to log on this weekend!!!" I think I have that dance bracelet somewhere still, it was speculated that it would be worth "a lot of money one day!" any takers? 

There is so much I could say about my time in SL, it's been completely fun, weird, silly, amazing, and I would never have expected 8 years later to be in this virtual world. EVER. EVER.

I've met some truly admirable people, some of whom I now call very dear friends...

So let's get to the KittyCatS! Summer Splash...

This is our 3rd year making an SL birthday cat and it's is available to EVERY resident as our "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" gift to you! :) You can pick it up HERE on our KittyCatS SL10B sim :)

sPriNg hAS SpRunG!!!! - Wild FlowerS! and Scrambled EggS!

happy spring everyone!

i hope you are enjoying the changing of the season... butterflies are fluttering about, humming birds visiting my yard and the temperature rising is making every thing bloom!!! it's quite beautiful and intoxicating.

the arrival of spring this year made it's way into the latest collection i designed for KittyCatS! - like every collection i do, i'm always a little worried the inspiration won't strike or an idea will not turn out... that was the case when doing both of these collections.

the Wild FlowerS! were inspired by thinking of mixing one of my favorite textures, leopard print and flowers... the result ended up being quite different than i had imagined at first and i'm so GLAD!!!

the second design "Scrambled Eggs" were inspired by the colors of spring with a lean towards how some easter eggs are and other spring are decorated. it was fun to imagine the KittyCatS themselves playing and painting each other. the story that i worked from is, they were so inspired by the colors of sping and wanted to decorate each other to fit in too. they thought being an egg would be a good idea but they didn't really understand how easter eggs fit into the whole thing so they named themselves silly things like "souffle", "sunny side up", "omelette", you get the picture. but they were so proud of themselves they presented themselves as "the scrambled eggs! who had the heart to tell them they really DID get it "scrambled"? not me!

both collections come with a special surprise! by breeding a pair together, they would give you a special baby, the flowers gave a "wild child" and the scrambled eggs gave a "deviled". complete with a set of bunny ears and a little cotton tail, nodding again to the newborn baby animals of spring :)

The Bugs & The Bees, MegaPuss, 2 years, One Billion, & more!

Wow... what a crazy month so far!!! KittyCatS! turned two... and the party is still going on at our birthday sim, where you can RIDE a  MegaPuss, (rideable cat), get a FREE birthday Kitty with CAKE food :), and dance, ride a bull, see an indian village and more! (the free Bday cats are available until the end of the month)

What is a MegaPuss??? It's a KittyCatS you can RIDE and also have a friend ride on back!!! Tinies can even ride them!! (see photo) Our community has gone wild over these, and i'm sure you can guess they've had fun with the name as well :/

We had a 5 hour party and it was a blast...

The Team was wanted... for various reasons...

We also released our adorable "Bugs & Bees" collection. To celebrate LOVE and all things buzzin' and stuff. These are available until the end of the month!

I've been so busy, not had any time for designing out side of KittyCatS! but I did manage to get some Mesh hair to finally work!! (thank to old Gurl Six bangs) and I got a new skin... so that was my other big news! :P Thanks to Barely Texan who MADE me buy the skin and eyes. (ok he really didn't make me... i made the choice and i only had to tweak my face for about 10 minutes to get it to work!)

I was also honored to be a sponsor for one billion rising, an amazing event that lasted 24 hours to raise awareness about violence towards women world wide...  KittyCatS! was also a proud sponsor too. I'm constantly amazed at the work and creative ways SL supports RL causes.

Well, I have more news for this month but not anymore time to blog so it will come later! It's already a great year and gonna get "bettah", "bettah", "bettah"...

Wow!!! it's been such a long time since i've posted! i've been working a lot on various things and one of them has been the just released "Spooky Collection KittyCatS!" which were released just yesterday.

it was a lot of fun to work on these little cats... and i don't know which are my favorite cuz each of them are special in their own way.

hApPy 9th bIRtHdAY seCoNd LiFe!!! (you don't look a day over 3)

YaY, second life is now 9 years old!!! hard to believe it!

in Honor of the 9 years, KittyCatS! has created a special collectible birthday cat as a way to celebrate with the community. It will be available til June 29th at the 20 sim birthday bash, Our KittyCatS! SL9B sim, and Frolic Island.

The cats have the "9" theme on them, 9 balloons, 9 stars on the collar, 9 stars on the chest, 9 stars on each side of the body, and 9 little stars on the underside of their paws.... the cat comes in a cute little cake (shown), with a hat, balloon and cute food that looks like a birthday cake :)

we also have a sim apart from the 20 sim birthday bash, decorated like a jungle where you can admire cute birthday boxes all decorated by our amazing creative community! There are free gifts there too from some SL content creators who are part of the KittyCatS! community.

got STEAM??? Steampunk inspired KittyCatS! for RFL of SL Home expo.

Cats @ the KittyCatS! display

Making the RFL cats this year was bitter sweet. A dear friend's father that I've known since my teens has been battling pancreatic cancer, and he died on May 7th. He was one of the most amazing men I had ever met in my entire life. Full of love, life, courage, a pioneer in his career, and as humble as they come.

With him in mind I made these cats... it brought it to a whole new level for me because of the timing. One thing he said when he got diagnosed was "Cancer is the gift of time"... how coincidental it was... that was 2 years ago when they gave him but a month to live... but he was committed to living each day as the GIFT it was... then this year the theme is "Time for a Cure".

The cats were designed with that theme in mind as well. I have always been drawn to steampunk art, and when thinking of what i'd make for this event, i thought a "clock cat" which thankfully evolved into these little cuties.

They come in 2 colors, a Gold & Silver and the Girls and boys are different as well. The boy has the "gears" and mechanics, the girl has all the water inside her which you can see from her heart shaped hole, and she's full of little fish.

KittyCatS! come with collectible packaging & Goggles they wear!

The packaging the cats come in is a cute little "steampunk" inspired aquarium with a little fish that swims... All the elements in the cat and packaging tie into the display at the Home & Garden Expo where the cats can be purchased. ALL proceeds to go Relay For Life!!!!

Last week, KittyCatS! released something I've been pretty excited about for a long time. We added the KittyCatS! CaTTery.

What is that? Well simply put, it's a way to export your cats with the click of the mouse onto our website "CaTTery" and you have the ability to feed, breed and care for them there!

It's an added feature our customers can use if they can't get into SL to care for their pets and just want to "keep an eye on them" and a very customizable tool that really can be used however the customer wants. (Some people were VERY excited to get their houses back after giving up house and home to their little Kitties)

Prims are always an issue in SL so I'm really happy we were able to offer a feature that is mindful of the limits we all have to work with in SL.

Thus far the response has been really positive which we were hoping for. What I find is really great is the speed of which the KittyCatS can travel in and out of SL in... literally a SECOND or LESS!!! I have to admit having fun sending them back and forth quite a few times.

We have provided this awesome addition at no charge so all who wanted, no matter what their budget could use the cattery. Oh did i forget to mention we have a new hold/cuddle too??? (Adorkable did a great job on it!!!)

I'm pretty impressed with all the work and brain power it went into creating this technology... and I bow down humbly to "KittyCats" our scripter for his ability to pull of what we only dreamed of. Can't wait for the other stuff he's gonna do :P

nouvelle vague française - collabor88 goes french new wave!!!

i LOVED the theme. this months collabor88 was "french new wave" and the colors were fab. i enjoyed making this retro swim suit (with optional ruffle skirt) so much! i've always loved vintage stuff and this was a great little project.

i made it in the 5 colors of the palete we had to work from... i hope you enjoy it. lots of other great stuff too!!! great for mixing and matching!!!

Flowers & Truffles... Yummy stuff for Spring!

We just released on April 1st the KittyCatS! Spring Collection Cats. It was a bit challenging making the chocolate ones.  Brown can look like many things when applied to a prim and my first attempts came nowhere close to chocolate! (yes, it was quite bad)

So... our kitties actually were very naughty in the end and broke into an elite Chocolatier Boutique and melted all the Chocolate bunnies and had fun decorating themselves as Fancy Truffles!!! They even managed to get some Bunny Ears and Tails too!!! Yes, they are magical. :)

 The second part of the Spring Collection,  "Fun Flowers" were a lot of fun to make. It's the first time I actually drew with pen and ink on paper and imported it into the digital realm to apply to the cats. I've been wanting to do this for a LONG time because I love to draw, paint and doodle. These cats are the first in our "artist" series which will use traditional mediums all hand done on paper or canvas then applied digitally. I can't wait to do more in the future!!!

Best Of SL - caLLie & KittyCatS! - meow?

a few years ago, i was asked to be on the BOSL mag cover.  i did the cover,  blowing a kiss with one as i held a pistol in my other hand, why? who knows. in the spread i also wore my kitty ears & tail... why? it seemed fun. i enjoyed shooting for that issue... i started in SL as a photographer, so it's always fun to revisit that.

2 years later, i never thought i'd be on the cover of BOSL again, but this time i got be on it holding a cat who was holding my tiara... she made SURE she was the princess. :) 

i really enjoyed working with persia bravin on the article, what a fabulous lady! we got to talk about SL & fashion, and KittyCatS!  As some of you know, besides doing the caLLie cLine brand, i am also doing a new (well year old now) project called KittyCatS! which are little pet cats which can have babies and are really fun to interact with, and little bundles of fur joy! :) I've been doing that pretty much full time in SL for a year, cutting back quite a bit on clothing, consulting and other things... but i do love it very much :) our core team is made up of Equinox Pinion, Dennis Lagan and moi.

it was a bit challenging to get back into "photography" and it was a bit intimidating for me. SL has come so far since i first started shooting and it took a bit to get the feel again.

well that's all for now, KittyCatS! will be at Fashion For Life which opens on the 10th of March, and it's really exciting to be able to participate in a cause which touches so many lives. i'm honored. my good friend (and partner for the fashion blogger group) Harper Beresford has been heading it up and has done just a fabulous job, make sure to check it out, there are tons of great designers all giving their time and talents to help in fighting the battle of cancer. a generous community to be sure.

meow!!! KittyCats! turns ONE year old!!!

on Feb. 7th, KittyCatS! turned ONE year old!!! we had a fun time reliving a year ago releasing approx 10 minutes after midnight... and this year, released our FREE birthday cat AND our "love collection" featuring Love Leopards & Love Letters

it was so much fun :) and began a week's worth of activities ending with a 5 hour birthday bash on the 12th. we also have a birthday hunt going until the 22nd to win the second birthday cat :) (we made a boy and girl pair)
