Hi everyone!

I've been quite busy lately and I can hardly believe my last post was in the summer! Time flies doesn't it? I hope you are all have a lovely fall and enjoying the changing of the seasons.

I wanted to take some time to introduce you to some very Silly SpOOkS!

These are one of the Collections from our Fall "Mystical" Line of KittyCatS! As many of you know
most of my SL time is spent these days playing with very cute kitties!

One of the most fun things about the whole mystical collection is the fun interactions... you can fly with a broom with your cat on it with all the cats AND if you use the "walk" feature, you can have on or 50 walk all around you when you TRICK OR TREAT or attend any fun Halloween events!

They are available in the marketplace AND at our KittyCatS Store.

The Bugs & The Bees, MegaPuss, 2 years, One Billion, & more!

Wow... what a crazy month so far!!! KittyCatS! turned two... and the party is still going on at our birthday sim, where you can RIDE a  MegaPuss, (rideable cat), get a FREE birthday Kitty with CAKE food :), and dance, ride a bull, see an indian village and more! (the free Bday cats are available until the end of the month)

What is a MegaPuss??? It's a KittyCatS you can RIDE and also have a friend ride on back!!! Tinies can even ride them!! (see photo) Our community has gone wild over these, and i'm sure you can guess they've had fun with the name as well :/

We had a 5 hour party and it was a blast...

The Team was wanted... for various reasons...

We also released our adorable "Bugs & Bees" collection. To celebrate LOVE and all things buzzin' and stuff. These are available until the end of the month!

We also had some fun with Mardi Gras... where our community had a chance at a surprise mardi gras Kitty! That was tons of fun too!

I've been so busy, not had any time for designing out side of KittyCatS! but I did manage to get some Mesh hair to finally work!! (thank to old Gurl Six bangs) and I got a new skin... so that was my other big news! :P Thanks to Barely Texan who MADE me buy the skin and eyes. (ok he really didn't make me... i made the choice and i only had to tweak my face for about 10 minutes to get it to work!)

I was also honored to be a sponsor for one billion rising, an amazing event that lasted 24 hours to raise awareness about violence towards women world wide...  KittyCatS! was also a proud sponsor too. I'm constantly amazed at the work and creative ways SL supports RL causes.

Well, I have more news for this month but not anymore time to blog so it will come later! It's already a great year and gonna get "bettah", "bettah", "bettah"...

Flowers & Truffles... Yummy stuff for Spring!

hey all :)

We just released on April 1st the KittyCatS! Spring Collection Cats. It was a bit challenging making the chocolate ones.  Brown can look like many things when applied to a prim and my first attempts came nowhere close to chocolate! (yes, it was quite bad)

So... our kitties actually were very naughty in the end and broke into an elite Chocolatier Boutique and melted all the Chocolate bunnies and had fun decorating themselves as Fancy Truffles!!! They even managed to get some Bunny Ears and Tails too!!! Yes, they are magical. :)

 The second part of the Spring Collection,  "Fun Flowers" were a lot of fun to make. It's the first time I actually drew with pen and ink on paper and imported it into the digital realm to apply to the cats. I've been wanting to do this for a LONG time because I love to draw, paint and doodle. These cats are the first in our "artist" series which will use traditional mediums all hand done on paper or canvas then applied digitally. I can't wait to do more in the future!!!

Best Of SL - caLLie & KittyCatS! - meow?

a few years ago, i was asked to be on the BOSL mag cover.  i did the cover,  blowing a kiss with one as i held a pistol in my other hand, why? who knows. in the spread i also wore my kitty ears & tail... why? it seemed fun. i enjoyed shooting for that issue... i started in SL as a photographer, so it's always fun to revisit that.

2 years later, i never thought i'd be on the cover of BOSL again, but this time i got be on it holding a cat who was holding my tiara... she made SURE she was the princess. :) 

i really enjoyed working with persia bravin on the article, what a fabulous lady! we got to talk about SL & fashion, and KittyCatS!  As some of you know, besides doing the caLLie cLine brand, i am also doing a new (well year old now) project called KittyCatS! which are little pet cats which can have babies and are really fun to interact with, and little bundles of fur joy! :) I've been doing that pretty much full time in SL for a year, cutting back quite a bit on clothing, consulting and other things... but i do love it very much :) our core team is made up of Equinox Pinion, Dennis Lagan and moi.

it was a bit challenging to get back into "photography" and it was a bit intimidating for me. SL has come so far since i first started shooting and it took a bit to get the feel again.

well that's all for now, KittyCatS! will be at Fashion For Life which opens on the 10th of March, and it's really exciting to be able to participate in a cause which touches so many lives. i'm honored. my good friend (and partner for the fashion blogger group) Harper Beresford has been heading it up and has done just a fabulous job, make sure to check it out, there are tons of great designers all giving their time and talents to help in fighting the battle of cancer. a generous community to be sure.

meow!!! KittyCats! turns ONE year old!!!

on Feb. 7th, KittyCatS! turned ONE year old!!! we had a fun time reliving a year ago releasing approx 10 minutes after midnight... and this year, released our FREE birthday cat AND our "love collection" featuring Love Leopards & Love Letters

it was so much fun :) and began a week's worth of activities ending with a 5 hour birthday bash on the 12th. we also have a birthday hunt going until the 22nd to win the second birthday cat :) (we made a boy and girl pair)

Happy Halloween! and a broom and cat to boot!

Felines & Fashion & Fun

I've not posted for a while... I've been uber busy and having a lot of fun creating different things. The platinum hunt was a lot of fun and this first photo is of one of the items from Adorkable Poses, I really love it! It has a bunch of fun poses, is MOD, and was a lot of fun to play with. I got my little cat to jump up for the shot :)

This week we released our 1.09 update and extension which included 2 fun new features. One is "Pet & Play" where you OR anyone who wants to can interact and pet your KittyCat! Adorkable Peapod worked with us creating great animations with so many variations! So now you can relax, pamper or spoil any KittyCat you see just with ONE click. (no need to swap ownership)

the KittyCatS just love it so far and so do I. I find myself working while being in the "relax" mode with my cat. (seen below)

Meow!!! Give me platinum please!

KittyCatS! is excitedly participating in the platinum hunt :) Our cats wanted us to make a special collar for them so... of course we did. PLATINUM HUNT!!! simply priceless !

i'm part of the platinum hunt in 2 ways this year... one under the caLLie cLine brand where i have put out some very very detailed never released jeans. i LOVED making these jeans and took a VERY long time adding tons of details... i really hope you like them :) they come with a pair of sculpted cuffs too that are embellished to match the jeans....

in the photo i am holding 2 little cuties... a white russian KittyCat with "platinum eyes" and my sweet little Flame kitty with soft fold ears and gerbera blue eyes :) i opted for them instead of a shirt :P

KittyCatS! take YOUR pick!

hello all you fashionistas out there AND other SL readers who have KittyCatS! (and those of you who don't)

We have just released our new "starter" packs... what this means is... the Kittens that are bought in our shop contain new "genes" including a brand new breed, and some other furs and eyes and now "whiskers" that can come in different types :)  (btw... we love seeing how you "wear" your cats to match your outfits)

a mix of KittyCat Breeds.

Our new Kitten Packs contain the 5 "genesis" cats which hold ALL the traits for all the other breeds. When you purchase a new pair (or pairs) your cats will include their own genes, and will be one of the 5 "Genesis". (in the photo above the middle black and white is "Domino" one of the Gensis cats)

If you are new to breeding cats this is a great time to try it out. You can get a pair with a weeks worth of food if you want to give it a try OR... you can go to many of the awesome KittyCatS markets our customers own (look in search) and see some of the beautiful cats they have bred. (all the others in the photo are just a few)

mAgiC 8 - hApPy biRtHdAy sEcOnD LifE !!!

in honor of SL8B (the 2 week long second life birthday party) KittyCatS! has made a special  "Magic Birthday Cat" that we are giving out as a gift to all of SL.

The Collectors KittyCat comes with food (that looks like a birthday cake with 8 candles on it) is born from a Magician's Hat, and also comes with a little hat, cape and magic wand that your cat can wear when it grows up.

RFL of SL & KittyCatS! announcement...

WOW, it's been a crazy few months. I've been loving the KittyCatS! community & all the awesome people I get to meet & chat with. It's been a fun challenge for me personally moving into a different way of doing "art" but it's been really fun too.

We recently were asked to create an "official" Relay For Life of Second Life special KittyCat and after hearing the details, we were thrilled to say "yes".

The KittyCat will be presented at the Home Expo on Saturday and Equinox & I have the honor of presenting it... no clue what I'm gonna say but I'm sure I'll be nervous!

Tommy & me... he's a large male Bengal Sorrell who let me put a girly collar on  him!

This is personally special to me for a few reasons... one is due to being so busy with the KittyCatS! I was unable to join Fashion Fair which my dear friend Harper Beresford did for RFL. I really wanted to be able to participate... Also, the woman who invited me into SL, Sue Stonebender, was VERY involved in RFL from the beginning and my first ever "charity" thing in SL was a limited Edition gown that I got to do with Sue... also... I've met so many people in SL who have battled cancer, some have won, some are still fighting and some sadly lost the battle but I wont ever forget the impact they had in my life.

I'll write more later as for now it's off to keep working on the cat for the expo :) it's really fun :)

Relay For Life of Second Life & KittyCatS! Partner for a specially commissioned RFLofSL KittyCatS! cat to benefit the American Cancer Society.

RFL of SL is thrilled to announce that KittyCatS! will be creating a special RFL of SL “KittyCatS Cat” that will be presented at the Home Expo on May 14th.

Both the RFL team and The KittyCatS! team (Callie Cline, Dennis Lagan & Equinox Pinion) are equally excited about this partnering and thrilled they could work together for this very special cause.
The new KittyCat will make its debut at the Home Expo on  May 14th.

Callie Cline and Equinox Pinion  will be presenting the new kitty on the Expo’s Main Stage at 12:30 pm, followed by the launch of a live music concert with Mankind Tracer.  This marks the first time that RFL of SL has joined in a partnership of this type and they look forward to the KittyCatS’ presence at Relay Team Events, at the Expo and at Relay weekend, right alongside the Linden Bears.

I've been busy in KittyCatS! land and having a fun time. I designed these cats for our Spring Collection. It was a lot of fun and they turned out quite different than when I started... it's fun to see what comes out when doing any creative project.

Leprecats! Feeling lucky anyone?

I had so much FUN making these KittyCatS for the St. Patrick's Day holiday. They have Emerald eyes and collars and are sold singly, as a boy or girl or in pairs. if you breed these 2 special KittyCatS you can have a special Leprekitten... and only 100 of those will ever be born.

it's not easy being green. 

I'll be putting out my green bowas and "kiss me all clover" stuff too in my store... but wanted to show you these first :)

They are available at the KittyCatS sim, Pampered Pets in So caL, and The Mango Yacht club. They are transferable too so they could make a cute gift for someone who likes green leopard cats!

OOOOOH and Barnesworth Anubis made a CUTE Leprecat Hideway house for them that's SO adorable :) it's at all the locations too :)

my personal cat tale... (the edited version)

 a few years ago i started working on a little project making little cats that my customers would be able to carry in purses or use as fashion accessories. when the whole maxim/pontiac thing happened that project, was put on the shelf. when i began designing i had a cat in each of my little stores that walked around and bumped into my customers. i've always loved them and own about 8 different kinds of SL cats. (non breeding ones)

in RL my first pet was a cat. a grey persian my parents bought me for my one year old birthday. susie was her name. i don't remember her at all now, (she sadly got ran over when i was very young). but my whole life growing up i always had a cat of my very own. i grew up on a "farm" not a real farm but for southern california, 5 acres with pigs, horses, sheep, cows, ducks, peacocks, chickens, a goat (yes i had to milk it before school) and horses and more i guess can qualify for a farm of sorts. i collected eggs also before school... i didn't like the milking and egg collecting so much, but the horses and my cats always. we also raised dogs. english springer spaniels, german shepherds, doberman pinschers and... staffordshire terriers (yes, pit bulls). it was always fun to have little puppies running around and stuff. but nothing every took the place of my kitties to me. (ok well my pet raccoon did when it was a baby before it bit me)

fast forward to now...  early this week, KittyCatS! was launched.  it's a project i've been working on for quite a while with 2 people i met in SL who are also cat lovers. Equniox Pinion & Dennis Lagan. We've created a pet KittyCat that can breed, and play and cuddle and interact and it's been quite an adventure to say the very least. (they come in 5 types to start and can be bred where a LOT of different kinds of cats will be discovered. they can also but turned into pets which require no food and don't breed but just are nice pets who love you.)

this project though challenged me as an artist in a lot of ways, mostly learning to paint in a 3d program. YIKES! i'm still learning and have a LONG way to go, but it's been fun too. (my main job was making the cats and the visuals, and all kind of stuff)

sometimes i wonder if all of us in SL are a little bit crazy, and i surely thought i was many times during this project. fighting sculpties was NOOOO fun. thankfully some awesome people we there to help me on that part of the project, Gospel Voom, Maxwell Graf and Anthonys Repbulic were invaluable in their input and encouragement and willingness to offer tips and support. awesome people!

anyway... lest i go on and on... if you'd like to see our little KittyCatS! you can get a peak at them on our sim... named simply KittyCatS . you'll find them walking around, chasing butterflies, sleeping, running, washing their faces, lying around and more. our store was built by my longtime great friend barnesworth anubis who has stuck with me in my first venture into the SL animal world when we started making posh chicken housing... and boy what a wild ride it's been. he's created some outstanding stuff for the KittyCatS and it's available in the store as well.

in closing this post, i'd just like to thank a few people who's support really was so so appreciated personally by me. words really can't say how thankful i am to them. well first to equinox and dennis, thanks for everything and most of all being committed to excellence and hard work. i'm amazed by both of you in more ways than i can express. jaz zephyr & moondoggy, harper beresford, meara deschanel, sexypandora bailey, bho, barnes, stroker serpentine, tab scott, gospel, maxwell, anthony, night singh, and also jon, who i worked with on the sculpts. he wouldn't dare come into secondlife, but i'm gonna try to get him to read this post! (hi jon!) (we worked together on RL projects i've done) there are a lot of other people who gave me a lot of support during this time so if i have forgotten anyone... please forgive me!

well that's my little cat tale for now... it's a story i hope will continue on for some time.
